24 solar terms is a supplementary calendar used to guide agricultural work in ancient China. It is the accumulation of long-term experience and the crystallization of wisdom of the farmers of the China.
二十四節(jié)氣,是中國(guó)古代用來(lái)指導(dǎo)農(nóng)事勞作的補(bǔ)充歷法,是中華民族勞動(dòng)人民長(zhǎng)期經(jīng)驗(yàn)的積累和智慧的結(jié)晶。在國(guó)際氣象界,二十四節(jié)氣被收錄到教科文組織人類非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)代表作名錄。
After nearly three years of Chinese curriculum development in the implementation of the IB education framework, ISA’s Chinese lessons have achieved unprecedented breakthroughs. This exploration of the 24 solar terms not only brings together the Chinese curriculum and Chinese traditional culture, but also expands students’ Chinese learning into various other subject areas. Chinese learning is not only a language and the exploration of culture, but also one of the pathways for students to become a holistic thinker. As an ancient country with a history of five thousand years, much wisdom has been preserved in various cultural heritages. What we see, what we hear, and even what we learn all depends on our cognitive level. If there is no cultural foundation to back up, then what we hear is limited, what we see is one-sided, and what we learn is only floating on the surface and ignoring its essence. The exploration of 24 solar terms not only allows students to learn to observe nature, but also makes students understand that many human activities, customs, cultures, and traditions are derived from human understanding of nature. Human creativity evident in various fields, including literature, astronomy, science and mathematics are initially from expression and application of natural cognition. Our world is full of curiosity and secrets. As educators, we should lead learners to discover the natural secrets of the world around them. Moreover, learners can feel the magical fascination of nature, so that they can cultivate their innate curiosity leading them all the way to their goals of life-long learning.
經(jīng)過(guò)近三年中文課程在IB國(guó)際課程實(shí)施中的各種創(chuàng)新和改革,愛莎的中文課程取得了前所未有的突破。這次對(duì)24節(jié)氣的探究,不僅讓中文課程和中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化結(jié)合到了一起,更讓學(xué)生們的中文學(xué)習(xí)拓展到各個(gè)學(xué)科領(lǐng)域。中文學(xué)習(xí)不僅僅是語(yǔ)言,文化的傳承,更是學(xué)生全新思維發(fā)展的途徑之一。作為具有五千年悠悠歷史的古國(guó),多少智慧的結(jié)晶在各種文化遺產(chǎn)中保留下來(lái)。我們每天看到的,聽到的,甚至于學(xué)到的,都取決于我們的認(rèn)知水平,如果沒(méi)有文化底蘊(yùn)奠定基礎(chǔ),那么看到的是有限的,聽到的是片面的,學(xué)到的是浮于表面且忽略其精華的。對(duì)24節(jié)氣的探究,不僅讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)觀察大自然,更讓學(xué)生了解到其實(shí)很多人類活動(dòng)、習(xí)俗、文化和傳統(tǒng)都是源于人類對(duì)自然的理解。人類在各個(gè)領(lǐng)域的創(chuàng)造包括文學(xué),天文學(xué),科學(xué)和數(shù)學(xué)等,其實(shí)都是對(duì)自然界認(rèn)知的一種表達(dá)和運(yùn)用。我們的世界充滿了好奇,充滿了秘密,而我們作為教育者應(yīng)該引領(lǐng)學(xué)習(xí)者發(fā)現(xiàn)周圍世界的秘密,并感受它的神奇魅力,讓學(xué)習(xí)者長(zhǎng)久保持與生俱來(lái)的好奇心,并一路引領(lǐng)他們實(shí)現(xiàn)終生學(xué)習(xí)的目標(biāo)!
In the international meteorological community, 24 solar terms has been included in the UNESCO list of representatives of the intangible cultural heritage of mankind. This semester, our school has launched a Chinese inquiry activity with the theme of "24 solar terms". It promotes and disseminates Chinese traditional culture, so that children from different cultural backgrounds can feel the charm of 24 solar terms in an independent, open and pleasant learning atmosphere.
本學(xué)期,我校開展了以“二十四節(jié)氣”為主題的中文探究活動(dòng),弘揚(yáng)并傳播了中華傳統(tǒng)文化,讓不同文化背景的孩子們?cè)谧灾鳌㈤_放、愉悅的學(xué)習(xí)氛圍中,感受二十四節(jié)氣的魅力。
In order to show what children from kindergarten to junior middle school have learned in this inquiry activity, our school held a phased presentation of "The Beauty of The Season" at the Grandview Theatre in Grandview Mall, Guangzhou, at 14 p.m. on May 13th. Children showed their understanding of solar terms through different forms of exhibition boards and stages.
為了展示從幼兒園到初中部的孩子們?cè)谶@次主題探究活動(dòng)中的所習(xí)所得,我校于5月13下午14時(shí),在廣州正佳廣場(chǎng)的“開心麻花”劇場(chǎng)舉行了階段性匯報(bào)“時(shí)節(jié)之美”的展演活動(dòng)。孩子們把他們對(duì)節(jié)氣的認(rèn)知理解,通過(guò)展板與舞臺(tái)的不同形式進(jìn)行了展示。
On the exhibition board, the children conveyed their central ideas and achievements of inquiry learning through pictures and words, revealed their new understanding of the world, culture and belief through their exploration of nature and seasons, and perceived the changes and rules of time, as well as the origin of folk customs and festivals. The participants affirmed and appreciated the demonstration of the children's inquiry learning.
在展板上,孩子們通過(guò)圖片與文字,傳達(dá)了他們探究學(xué)習(xí)的中心思想與成果,揭示了他們通過(guò)對(duì)自然、季節(jié)的探索,形成的對(duì)世界、文化、信仰等的新認(rèn)識(shí),感知到了時(shí)間的變化與規(guī)律,及民俗、節(jié)日的由來(lái)。對(duì)孩子們此次探究學(xué)習(xí)成果的展示,到場(chǎng)嘉賓表示肯定與贊賞。
To begin the programme, the children's performance is refreshing for the audience: Children in kindergartens sang neatly and loudly, singing the rhythm in ancient poems, telling people the origin of the history and customs of the rhythm; Y1A and Y5 children's lively stage play, told us the story of the spring rhythm; Y1B children's beautiful and moving dance, showed the vitality of the rhythm culture; Y3 children's humorous crosstalk, combined the rhythm and the festival into interesting words. Y6 and Y7 children's drama "The Year Beast Comes", show us their understanding of Chinese Spring Festival culture;The "little poets of ISA" recited the beauty of spring with their works; Various forms of programs showed us the results of the children's inquiry learning from different forms of performance, and fully demonstrated the children's lively artistic expression.
展演活動(dòng)帷幕拉開,孩子們的表演更是讓觀眾們耳目一新:幼兒園大班的孩子們整齊嘹亮的歌聲,唱出了古詩(shī)中的節(jié)氣,告訴了人們節(jié)氣歷史與習(xí)俗;Y1A和Y5的孩子們活潑靈動(dòng)的舞臺(tái)劇,講述了春天的節(jié)氣故事;Y1B的孩子們優(yōu)美動(dòng)人的舞姿,展示了節(jié)氣文化的活力;Y3孩子幽默詼諧的相聲,把節(jié)氣與節(jié)日的聯(lián)系融于妙趣橫生的話語(yǔ)中;Y6和Y7孩子的話劇《年獸來(lái)了》,讓大家看到了他們對(duì)中國(guó)春節(jié)文化的理解;“愛莎小詩(shī)人”們用自己的作品吟誦出了春天的美好;形式多樣的節(jié)目輪番上場(chǎng),讓觀眾從不同表演形式中看到了孩子們此次探究學(xué)習(xí)的成果,也充分展現(xiàn)了孩子們靈動(dòng)的藝術(shù)表現(xiàn)力。
120 minutes of performance slipped by, the children's affectionate show still fluctuates the hearts of the audience. The periodical report of inquiry learning has come to an end, but the Chinese inquiry learning in ISA will set off a new upsurge, just as the President of the Chinese department Tang said: "It is time to gradually seek out, cultural treasures everywhere. " ISA students will make unremitting progress on the road of Chinese learning, and do their humble but firm strength for spreading Chinese traditional culture!
120分鐘的演出不知不覺(jué)接近尾聲,孩子們稍顯稚嫩但傾情演繹的節(jié)目卻仍然撥動(dòng)著觀眾們的心弦。探究學(xué)習(xí)的階段性匯報(bào)告一段落,但愛莎校園的中文探究學(xué)習(xí)將掀起新的熱潮。正如中文部唐校長(zhǎng)所賦“時(shí)令漸濃堪尋訪,文化瑰寶遍梓桑。”愛莎的莘莘學(xué)子們將會(huì)在中文探究學(xué)習(xí)之路上不懈前行,為弘揚(yáng)和傳播中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化盡獻(xiàn)自己綿薄而堅(jiān)定的力量!
