“時節之美”學生匯演
24 solar terms is a supplementary calendar used to guide agricultural work in ancient China. It is the accumulation of long-term experience and the crystallization of wisdom of the farmers of the China.
二十四節氣,是中國古代用來指導農事勞作的補充歷法,是中華民族勞動人民長期經驗的積累和智慧的結晶。在國際氣象界,二十四節氣被收錄到教科文組織人類非物質文化遺產代表作名錄。
After nearly three years of Chinese curriculum development in the implementation of the IB education framework, ISA’s Chinese lessons have achieved unprecedented breakthroughs. This exploration of the 24 solar terms not only brings together the Chinese curriculum and Chinese traditional culture, but also expands students’ Chinese learning into various other subject areas. Chinese learning is not only a language and the exploration of culture, but also one of the pathways for students to become a holistic thinker. As an ancient country with a history of five thousand years, much wisdom has been preserved in various cultural heritages. What we see, what we hear, and even what we learn all depends on our cognitive level. If there is no cultural foundation to back up, then what we hear is limited, what we see is one-sided, and what we learn is only floating on the surface and ignoring its essence. The exploration of 24 solar terms not only allows students to learn to observe nature, but also makes students understand that many human activities, customs, cultures, and traditions are derived from human understanding of nature. Human creativity evident in various fields, including literature, astronomy, science and mathematics are initially from expression and application of natural cognition. Our world is full of curiosity and secrets. As educators, we should lead learners to discover the natural secrets of the world around them. Moreover, learners can feel the magical fascination of nature, so that they can cultivate their innate curiosity leading them all the way to their goals of life-long learning.
經過近三年中文課程在IB國際課程實施中的各種創新和改革,愛莎的中文課程取得了前所未有的突破。這次對24節氣的探究,不僅讓中文課程和中國傳統文化結合到了一起,更讓學生們的中文學習拓展到各個學科領域。中文學習不僅僅是語言,文化的傳承,更是學生全新思維發展的途徑之一。作為具有五千年悠悠歷史的古國,多少智慧的結晶在各種文化遺產中保留下來。我們每天看到的,聽到的,甚至于學到的,都取決于我們的認知水平,如果沒有文化底蘊奠定基礎,那么看到的是有限的,聽到的是片面的,學到的是浮于表面且忽略其精華的。對24節氣的探究,不僅讓學生學會觀察大自然,更讓學生了解到其實很多人類活動、習俗、文化和傳統都是源于人類對自然的理解。人類在各個領域的創造包括文學,天文學,科學和數學等,其實都是對自然界認知的一種表達和運用。我們的世界充滿了好奇,充滿了秘密,而我們作為教育者應該引領學習者發現周圍世界的秘密,并感受它的神奇魅力,讓學習者長久保持與生俱來的好奇心,并一路引領他們實現終生學習的目標!
In the international meteorological community, 24 solar terms has been included in the UNESCO list of representatives of the intangible cultural heritage of mankind. This semester, our school has launched a Chinese inquiry activity with the theme of "24 solar terms". It promotes and disseminates Chinese traditional culture, so that children from different cultural backgrounds can feel the charm of 24 solar terms in an independent, open and pleasant learning atmosphere.
本學期,我校開展了以“二十四節氣”為主題的中文探究活動,弘揚并傳播了中華傳統文化,讓不同文化背景的孩子們在自主、開放、愉悅的學習氛圍中,感受二十四節氣的魅力。
In order to show what children from kindergarten to junior middle school have learned in this inquiry activity, our school held a phased presentation of "The Beauty of The Season" at the Grandview Theatre in Grandview Mall, Guangzhou, at 14 p.m. on May 13th. Children showed their understanding of solar terms through different forms of exhibition boards and stages.
為了展示從幼兒園到初中部的孩子們在這次主題探究活動中的所習所得,我校于5月13下午14時,在廣州正佳廣場的“開心麻花”劇場舉行了階段性匯報“時節之美”的展演活動。孩子們把他們對節氣的認知理解,通過展板與舞臺的不同形式進行了展示。
On the exhibition board, the children conveyed their central ideas and achievements of inquiry learning through pictures and words, revealed their new understanding of the world, culture and belief through their exploration of nature and seasons, and perceived the changes and rules of time, as well as the origin of folk customs and festivals. The participants affirmed and appreciated the demonstration of the children's inquiry learning.
在展板上,孩子們通過圖片與文字,傳達了他們探究學習的中心思想與成果,揭示了他們通過對自然、季節的探索,形成的對世界、文化、信仰等的新認識,感知到了時間的變化與規律,及民俗、節日的由來。對孩子們此次探究學習成果的展示,到場嘉賓表示肯定與贊賞。
To begin the programme, the children's performance is refreshing for the audience: Children in kindergartens sang neatly and loudly, singing the rhythm in ancient poems, telling people the origin of the history and customs of the rhythm; Y1A and Y5 children's lively stage play, told us the story of the spring rhythm; Y1B children's beautiful and moving dance, showed the vitality of the rhythm culture; Y3 children's humorous crosstalk, combined the rhythm and the festival into interesting words. Y6 and Y7 children's drama "The Year Beast Comes", show us their understanding of Chinese Spring Festival culture;The "little poets of ISA" recited the beauty of spring with their works; Various forms of programs showed us the results of the children's inquiry learning from different forms of performance, and fully demonstrated the children's lively artistic expression.
展演活動帷幕拉開,孩子們的表演更是讓觀眾們耳目一新:幼兒園大班的孩子們整齊嘹亮的歌聲,唱出了古詩中的節氣,告訴了人們節氣歷史與習俗;Y1A和Y5的孩子們活潑靈動的舞臺劇,講述了春天的節氣故事;Y1B的孩子們優美動人的舞姿,展示了節氣文化的活力;Y3孩子幽默詼諧的相聲,把節氣與節日的聯系融于妙趣橫生的話語中;Y6和Y7孩子的話劇《年獸來了》,讓大家看到了他們對中國春節文化的理解;“愛莎小詩人”們用自己的作品吟誦出了春天的美好;形式多樣的節目輪番上場,讓觀眾從不同表演形式中看到了孩子們此次探究學習的成果,也充分展現了孩子們靈動的藝術表現力。
120 minutes of performance slipped by, the children's affectionate show still fluctuates the hearts of the audience. The periodical report of inquiry learning has come to an end, but the Chinese inquiry learning in ISA will set off a new upsurge, just as the President of the Chinese department Tang said: "It is time to gradually seek out, cultural treasures everywhere. " ISA students will make unremitting progress on the road of Chinese learning, and do their humble but firm strength for spreading Chinese traditional culture!
120分鐘的演出不知不覺接近尾聲,孩子們稍顯稚嫩但傾情演繹的節目卻仍然撥動著觀眾們的心弦。探究學習的階段性匯報告一段落,但愛莎校園的中文探究學習將掀起新的熱潮。正如中文部唐校長所賦“時令漸濃堪尋訪,文化瑰寶遍梓桑。”愛莎的莘莘學子們將會在中文探究學習之路上不懈前行,為弘揚和傳播中國傳統文化盡獻自己綿薄而堅定的力量!
